Institut Montana student wins sports competition

Please join us in congratulating student Alexa Evertz, who took first place at the Zuger Cup 2021, an international competition for rhythmic gymnastics.

The Zuger Cup was organised by The RG Zug Club and took place 4-5 December in Zug. 130 girls competed and Alexa won her age group category. She is a talented young lady with remarkable sporting success already at a young age, representing Switzerland in national and international competitions and twice a finalist at the Swiss Championships.

Alexa has been doing rhythmic gymnastics since she was five years old, and before her top result in Zug she had achieved success in competitions in Germany, Bulgaria, Israel, Dubai and the Ukraine.

Alexa attends the Swiss Gymnasium and enjoys the full support of the school in realising her sporting ambitions, both in terms of facilities and learning needs. As you know, we like to focus on the individual to make things happen and the results can be spectacular.
